A Wideband Low-RCS Metasurface-Inspired Circularly Polarized Slot Array Based on AI-Driven Antenna Design Optimization Algorithm

A metasurface (MS)-inspired low-profile circularly polarized (CP) slot array with a wide CP band and broadband low radar cross section (RCS) is proposed in this communication. The consists of four element antennas, grounded substrates, sequential-rotated feeding network. In terms radiation performance, the yields resulting from antenna achieved due to polarization conversion property MS-based superstrate. network multiple related design parameters optimized by an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven method find widest bandwidth. scattering RCS reduction using hybrid technique that combines two destructive interference principles. $\vert \text{S}_{11}\vert &lt; -10$ dB bandwidth reaches 53.2%, AR < 3 50%, 147.8% for structure relatively number MS unit cells. prototype was fabricated measured. measured simulated results are good agreement.
